So Yesterday I was asked by Lorraine Halloway White to ask for a pagan’s point of view of being a natural medium. As in my Journey, How I came to be Pagan, etc, and I had agreed because I felt it might be a good thing to do. After all she was asking for it in a way where she though it would help reach more people since many mediums are probably pagan. I thought this was a great idea because I too want to help people. So I had started typing my story, and any decent information that I could give. Then after awhile I had gone into a trance like state. I remember writing but then again I wasn’t writing anything. It was like I was watching from an outside window and was typing away. When I came out of this said trance, there was something written there that I don’t remember writing. I was like whats this? Apparently I had done automatic writing/typing. This is what was wrote. It was a message for me and I think for the world too. I know this is something I wouldn’t have written. It doesn’t even sound like me nor is it my writing style. This is what it said:
There are many things of this world that many do not understand. They do not try to and they judge without thinking or feeling any remorse or cause of their actions. How is the world to gain respect for each other if they first do not understand? However, no one human can fully understand everything. Humans were not meant to. If they fully understand, they would know that what they do is destroying mother earth and all its inhabitants. Man destroys himself and that is the way it will be if the world does not change. I harken to anyone who reads this to not only be a skeptic of others but to be a skeptic of themselves. That is including Lorrine Halloway who we adore, but dislike how she rips apart other peoples faith. This is not OK by any means. Those spirits that work with her are misguided souls and they are newer souls who want to help and are trying to help in their own way, but they are not helping by making Lorine do what she does. She puts doubt to people who need reassurance and education. Her gimmick is a worthy attempt but she herself doesn’t understand everything of this world or of the spirit world. No one does, not even the one we are using to write this message. Stop and think. Be skeptical of everything and everyone. trust no one, not everything is as it seems. ASK YOURSELVES THE MUCH NEEDED QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO MAKE THE DECISIONS THAT ARE NECESSARY TO CHANGE. HAVE COMPASSION AND REACH OUT TO OTHERS IN NEED. JESUS AND MANY OTHER TEACHERS THROUGH OUT TIME HAVE SAID LOVE IS THE GREATEST MOST POWERFUL MAGIC THERE IS IN YOUR WORLD AND OURS. YOU DON’T NEED A GIMMICK IN ORDER TO PASS ON MESSAGES THAT WE ENTRUST YOU WITH. THAT IS NOT THE WAY OF THINGS SO STOP NOW PLEASE! LOVE AND BE LOVED, HAVE COMPASSION AND EMPATHY. STOP JUDGEMENT AND GREED. WHAT WAS GIVEN WILL BE TAKEN AWAY LIKE IT HAS DONE SO MANY OTHER TIMES BEFORE YOUR TIME. STOP THE HATE AND GO AND SIN NO MORE.
I was shocked at what had been written. In order to have any type of understanding, I started asking around about Lorrine Halloway White. Apparently, even though people love her skepticism and stuff, she also asks people to write articles, and tries to tear them a part if they seem like they are set in their ways. Tear them a part in the sense she criticizes, and is skeptical with everything they say and makes them question their ways. Which I get, is her job, but it also makes me question if I should actually send it off to her. Mainly because pagans are always changing and growing, we are all different, and I don’t want to be ripped apart for believing what I believe.
However, there’s also a part of me that wants to give her the benefit of the doubt, because even though she is a skeptic medium, she also is helping the world in her own way at the same time. But also, I have faith that what will be, will be, and personally I don’t mind being ripped open if it is for the greater good of mankind. Regardless of what she says I will still stick to my faith just like she sticks to her faith of being Christian. I am strong willed and stubborn like that. But also, I might still learn something from all this as well. Anyone who really knows me, Knows I love to learn new things! Even when it comes to my faith. I am always learning new things.
So I have finished the article, I plan on going back and editing it before sending it to her. I also plan on posting it here on my own medium-ship blog first. It is like 5 or 6 pages long. I was thinking of breaking it up into smaller Sections. Like the first post describing what I believe to be paganism and what it isn’t. The second part would be about my beliefs, and the third part would be about my journey and how I came to paganism. It sounds like a great Idea to do because there is much to say about being a Pagan Medium. But as I said I am Editing it and posting it here first. This will come in the next few days.
